03/30/08 ~ In over 2 years, Novena Rosary has not increased prices according to the gemstone and gold/silver market in an effort to keep prices at the lowest possible price for my customers. As 75% of my cliental are repeat or referred by past customers, you are satisfied to know that my prices are around 20% of what they are appraised for through GIA (Gemological Institute of America). However, I am no longer able to sustain these prices at the quality of materials that Novena Rosary is known. Effective immediately, all silver and solid gold Rosaries will have a 15% increase on the price reflected . This is the lowest I can sustain without compromising my quality. I apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to your continued patronage.

10/02/07- Gee, it's been almost a year since I wrote anything down! Shame on me. Mea culpa...Lots of new stuff happening with Novena Rosary. Currently, the website is being updated and reformatted. I also have put up a lot of new designs, but they're not out to the public just yet. I wanted to get out the Ordinary Time Rosary before Advent since so many of you have been anxiously awaiting the next series. I will have 2 Ordinary Time Rosaries soon, but let's start out with this stunning genuine Emerald Rosary! More beautiful and stunning in person, it's very limited...
12/12/06- Seasonal Rosaries are coming up. We started with the Advent Rosary made out of two shades of natural amethyst, purple and pink! Now Christmas is upon us, and a Christmas Rosary from garnet has been inspired with beautiful red garnet and rare tsavorite green garnet accenting salt water pearls! Limited editions, collect them all, because once they're gone, they won't be recreated.
4/27/06-I took a few minutes to put some new Rosaries up on my website. I made these Rosaries awhile ago, but haven't had the time to update my site (for those anxious customers concerned that I am playing around when I need to be busy working on their orders..LOL). I updated my Seraphinite Rosary Bracelet with hand enameled Russian Crucifix and Miraculous Medal in Gold. Very beautiful, I am wearing mine right now! I also updated the Azurite Rosary with an Irish Penal Crucifix. Finally, this Rosary is so beautiful and perfect for a man or woman. It's the 1st Rosary that my husband was actually considering taking for himself and that says a lot! It's called Fire Agate and I single cage wrapped it and used a specially cast in sterling John Paul II centerpiece and Papal Crucifix. Very limited (mostly for the work involved, Fire Agate Rosary.
4/2/06- Because of a recent splurge in orders for 1st Communion, RCIA and Easter orders, any orders made from this date on that are needed before April 15 will be charged an additional $50.00 in order to expedite it and guarantee it before Easter.
I know that everybody's order is very important and special to them, and I appreciate your consideration and patience. Currently, I cannot give a firm date of when your order will be ready unless you pay the extra fee, but my best guesstimate would be between a few days to 2 weeks after Easter if you place your order now depending on which date and how many orders I receive.
The reason you love these Rosaries, and they are so special is because each is handmade by me, Dianna Brett, through the artistry of wire-wrapping which takes between 4-10 hours to complete one 5 decade Rosary depending on the method used to construct it (standard wire-wrap, single cage wrapped or double cage wrapped). It is physically taxing and if you don't take ergonomic exercises and breaks, you will develop tendonitis and eventually carpal tunnel syndrome. I have been doing this for many years now, and hope to be doing it for many years to come. My materials are the finest quality, the type you would find in a fine jewelry store. In fact, I have local fine jewelry stores that carry some of my exclusive high end Rosaries currently. I know you will be thrilled to receive your Rosary, and in this day and age, you want the order you place today to have been shipped out yesterday, but this is old art and takes time, but what you get in return is an heirloom and a signature piece made by me especially for you!
3/12/06- The Genuine Ivory Rosary with carved rose elephant beads and garnet Paters has been updated with a beautiful vintage Celtic Crucifix and ornate center. As my supply dwindles, I will soon be out of all of my pre-ban ivory and sadly will no longer have this superlative Rosary available. I also made a solid sterling Connemara marble Irish Penal Rosary and will have that up soon as well. I'm sure you have never seen history look so beautiful, yet not too frilly for a man. I updated the Connemara Marble Rosary bracelet as well and added gem grade peridot instead of pearls and a more ornate Miraculous medal. I just think it looks better now. Unbeknownst to my husband, I have been taking the duck eggs collected daily and incubating them since March 8th. We will soon have babies from our 2 ducks, and then my husband will have to be thrilled..LOL! I felt bad that my poor Bernie (our female Pekin) was so sad and would chase us when we took her ducks. I candled them last night and they are all fertile and have started growing life. I'll see if I can take a picture for everyone when they hatch.
3/2/06- Have a new creation I came up for a St. Michael chaplet bracelet. I'm always trying to add beauty and functionality. My latest creations are a Lapis Lazuli St. Michael chaplet bracelet and a rare Seraphinite St. Michael chaplet bracelet. Of course, this can work with any niner chaplet, just need to change for the appropriate medal. I also made a gorgeous gem grade Rhodochrosite Rosary with golden akoya pearls, natural pink sapphires and a hand enameled Russian Orthodox Crucifix in pink! Oh yeah, my son wanted me to remind everyone that today is Dr. Seuss' 102nd birthday.
2/20/06- Woo-hoo! Long time since last update. Lots of stuff. New bracelets such as Seraphinite Rosary Bracelet. Seraphinite is by far my most popular stone right now and is outselling any of my other Rosaries. It's very rare and hard to get and when I'm out, I am OUT! I have been praying with a Seraphinite hand enameled Russian Crucifix Rosary for over a month now and it's such an entrancing stone that keeps attention deficit people like myself focused. Which leads to the next new topic..ENAMELING! I have been experimenting with enameling for the last few months and would say I have perfected it. I can enamel just about anything in any color and I love the way it looks. It's not like plating, it is stuck on there for life unless you melt it off and it makes your items that much more unique and special. No one else offers such diversity and customization. On that note there is a new Angelskin Coral Bouquet style Rosary up now under Rosaries for Her. I enameled both the centerpiece and Russian Crucifix in a perfect coral color to match and I only have 3 sets available. I have to say this is one of the prettiest Rosaries I have ever made and pictures definitely don't do this peace justice!
Finally, I've added chaplets to the catalog now and made up 2 outstanding St. Michael Chaplets in Azurite and Rhodochrosite. I'll be adding the prayers to the chaplets page shortly, but for those that don't know the prayers, just let me know during checkout and I will send you a copy with your special chaplet. As always, customization is not only accepted, but encouraged. I am even willing to enamel the St. Michael medal at a very low fee.
12/31/05- Yup. I'm on my computer on New Year's Eve. Welcome to parenthood. Ha! Gave me time to do some creations and I am thrilled how my new Gemstone Leather Rosary Pouch turned out! I also added a new like called Accessories. Right now it's the pouches. It's hard to think what other freebies I can give. Five decade Rosaries over $200.00 come in a velvet hinged Rosary box as seen here with Novena Rosary embossed inside, a carrying pouch and an actual useful thick magnetic business card that will hold up papers on your fridge.

7/11/05- Above is an example of my new photography equipment at work! For years I have been saying that my pictures do not give my Rosaries justice. I apologize for the lack of consistency with my pictures on my website. All the Rosaries are beautiful, but many are old scans of Rosaries I have already sold. As I get new ones made up, I will update them all.
7/3/05- I've got another gorgeous set of Rosary bracelets with lovely cameo lampwork and genuine salt water Akoya pearls! I also have an Angel Skin coral version, too!

6/13/05- I've decided to only make Pearl Rosaries and Pearl Rosary Bracelets out of genuine salt water pearls, aka Japanese Akoya Pearls. These pearls are much more expensive (around 10x higher, my cost), but carry a distinct nacre, luster or sheen, and overtone that freshwater pearls just don't have. I carry white/pink overtone, white/silver overstone, creme, golden and grey/blue overtone. I will also offer a certified appraisal from an unbiased gemologist for your order for an additional $45.00. Don't be surprised if it turns out your piece is worth 10x more than what I charge (Please allow an extra 2 weeks for the appraisal as it is sent out to another state.).

6/12/05- If you are interested in a certified appraisal for your order, please add an additional $45.00 and allow an extra 2 weeks. Your piece will be appraised by an unbiased accredited gemologist from another state with a written appraisal, the techniques used to appraise it and a picture of your piece in a three piece laminated folder. This appraisal can be used for insurance purposes as an investment.
